Jon D. Shanser, M.D., FACR

Dr. Jon Shanser joined ARL in September 2009. Dr. Shanser practiced general diagnostic radiology in San Francisco at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital before joining ARL. He moved to Tahoe to enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities available in the mountains.

Dr. Shanser is active in both the California Radiological Society (past president) as well as the American College of Radiology. Also, he currently is the Medical Director of Utilization Management for Health Help, Inc., one of the Radiology Benefit Management companies doing pre authorization of high tech imaging.
