Meet Our Management Team

Teresa Mahannah

Executive Director

Terri Mahannah Teresa (Terri) Mahannah joined Reno Diagnostic Centers, a partner of Elko Diagnostic Imaging (EDI), in April of 2001 as the company's Operations Manager and assumed the role of Executive Director for RDC in March of 2002. Terri became Executive Director of EDI in April of 2005. Terri leads all operational and financial activities for EDI. Terri's leadership abilities have helped EDI become the leading provider of imaging services in Elko County.

In addition to her tenure at EDI, Terri has worked in other Medical facilities as a Unit Coordinator, Systems Analyst, PACS Administrator, and Radiology Supervisor. Throughout her career, she has held a wide variety of positions in the medical field, including finance and operational support.

Terri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business-Logistics from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has served as President and is currently the interim President of the Nevada Medical Group Management Association. When not juggling the duties of Executive Director, Terri can be found cycling the scenic roadways of Reno.



Roger W. Helwig, MBA, CPA, CITP

Director of Operations & Finance

Roger Helwig Roger Helwig joined Elko Diagnostic Imaging (EDI) in June of 2009. He has over 22 years of experience in running operations and finance. His additional experience as a corporate leader and trainer provides EDI with a strong, consistent management presence.

Prior to joining Elko Diagnostic Imaging, Mr. Helwig spent the prior 10 years working for highly innovative entrepreneurial companies that included Edge Medical Products and Edge Technology as COO (a group of companies under common ownership that included a start-up pharmacy automation concept, property management and development, and specialized research and development including prototype manufacturing), WorthGroup as CFO (a design/build architecture, construction and interior design company), Sierra Design Group as CFO (a research and development company specializing in the lottery gaming industry), Brooks Automation as Division Controller (a hardware/software provider in the Semiconductor industry), and AutoSimulations & AutoSoft as CFO and VP of Finance and Administration (software and logistics companies in the Semiconductor and process innovation industries).

Mr. Helwig has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, a Master of Business Administration for the University of Utah, and completed 4 years of course work in Microbiology and Chemistry at Brigham Young University.

Mr. Helwig is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Technology Professional.



Christine Cavalier

Business Development Director

Christine Cavalier joined Elko Diagnostic Imaging (EDI) as a physician liaison in November of 2008, and became the Business Development Director in December of 2009. Her experience working with physicians and medical staff guides EDI's ability to deliver superior service to our referring offices and patients.

Before joining EDI, Christine was a Senior Sales Consultant for Novartis Pharmaceuticals where she helped physicians determine the best drug protocol for various patient disease states.

In addition to her Novartis experience, Christine served as a district manager for Wells Fargo Bank. Prior to that, she worked as an auditor for Coopers & Lybrand.

Christine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accountancy).



Ronald J. Milbank

Director of Information Technology

Ron Milbank Ronald Milbank joined Elko Diagnostic Imaging (EDI) as the Director of Information Technology in March, 2010, and leads all information technology operations across the corporation. His experience and insights on information technology guide our continuing effort to be on the leading edge of information delivery to our clients and management team.

Before joining EDI, Ron was COO and share holder at WorthGroup Masterbuilders, where he was responsible for leading their nationwide operations, which included overseeing corporate strategy, information technology, accounting and reporting, banking relationships, human resources, and legal issues.

In addition to his WorthGroup experience, Ron served as Director of World-Wide Support at Ramp Networks and Vertical Networks in Silicon Valley, CA. Ron's also worked throughout Silicon Valley in various management positions at Verilink Corporation, Synoptics, Bay Networks, Intrinsa Corporation, and Coryphaeus Software. He also has experience as a consulting manager for Charter Venture Capital. Ron's international experience stems from his role as an engineering technical writer at Tecan AG, in Switzerland. Ron's also served honorably in the United States Army.

Born July 1967, Ron holds a degree with honors from the De Anza College, Cupertino, CA, and a Certificate in "Managing the Development of Technical Information" from University of California, Santa Cruz.



Ruth Jacobs

Practice Manager

Ruth Jacobs joined Elko Diagnostic Imaging (EDI) as practice manager in August of 2010. Her commitment and experience working in the Elko medical community for the past 23 years enhances EDI's ability to provide leadership to a highly trained staff and excellent service to our patients and referring physicians.

Before joining EDI, Ruth was the practice administrator for Golden Health Family Medical Center where she managed all administrative details of the clinical, clerical and pharmaceutical functions of the medical center. In addition, she has several years of experience working in different multifaceted healthcare settings as a nurse in managerial and supervisory capacities.

Ruth holds an active NV nursing license and received her training from Southeast Technical Institute, Sioux Falls, SD. In her spare time, Ruth enjoys gardening and serves as a yard and garden coach for her friends and neighbors.
